A new major update has hit EA Sports’ “FIFA 17” on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The update comes with a couple of adjustments to the FIFA Ultimate team and the game’s Career Mode, among other things. To install “FIFA 17” Update 4, one should sign onto his or her account on the PS4, Xbox One or Steam.

Thew new update was launched last week, but the patch notes have only been provided this week. For players who have yet to access “FIFA 17” Update 4, its download size is revealed to be less than 1 GB, according to iDigitalTimes. Players are advised to allocate 1 GB or more of their device’s storage space if they want to have access to the major update’s features and changes.

Based on the patch notes, “FIFA 17” players should notice how the defensive line position for low pressure tactics has been modified. Another gameplay change has to do with EA Sports’ remedy for the problem that causes players to pass despite not pressing any button.

The issues with the FIFA Ultimate team are addressed by the major update as well. For instance, the game now displays the right kit for a player in the kit select screen. The latency bar graphic has been changed to provide more information on connection quality. During gameplay, players will notice that they are no longer capable of adjusting player positions.

Certain elements found on the FUT Champions matchup screen have been eliminated by the update. Players are now unable to view the Estimated Date, Crest and Squad Name. The ability to increase the overall rating of the squad by switching higher rated players with the lower rated ones in Squad Building Challenges has been altered, as per MSPoweruser.

In Career Mode, the issue that causes the system to display the incorrect weekly wages is also fixed by “FIFA 17’s” Update 4. On the visual and presentation side of things, EA Sports ensured that the major update improves slow motion goal replays, addresses EATV buffering and audio balance of French commentators and sets the language of The Journey commentator to match the one in the Game Settings.
